There’s also an energetic layer to this.

In my decades of work, I’ve seen over and over that the liver stores repressed emotions, especially unprocessed anger, resentment, and emotional betrayal. This isn’t just poetic symbolism, it shows up in the labs, in the fatigue, in the inability to move forward in life.

    Sudden anger, irritability, or mood swings may be your liver trying to clear energetic congestion.

    If therapy, journaling, or meditation help short-term but you keep looping back—your body may still be holding the energy.
